About Lisa Mounts
Lisa Mounts is a psychoanalyst with over 20 years of clinical experience and a fellow of the International Psychoanalytic Association. She is a Supervising and Training Analyst and on faculty at the American Institute for Psychoanalysis in New York and on faculty at the Los Angeles Institute and Society for Psychoanalytic Studies. Lisa focuses on providing comprehensive, compassionate and results oriented treatment to individuals in the U.S. and internationally.
Lisa obtained her master’s degree from Columbia University in clinical social work before completing the psychodynamic psychotherapy training program at the American Institute for Psychoanalysis in New York. She then went on to work and study in the United Kingdom at the Tavistock Clinic, which is internationally recognized as a world leader in pioneering mental health theories and treatments. While in London Lisa trained to be a psychoanalyst at the Institute for Psychoanalysis at the British Psychoanalytical Society.
Lisa has a private practice in Greenwich, Connecticut and the Upper East side of Manhattan where she works with adults, adolescents and families providing psychotherapy and psychoanalysis to treat a broad range of emotional issues, such as anxiety, depression and relationship difficulties.
