About Lisa Mounts

Lisa Mounts is a highly experienced psychoanalyst and psychotherapist with over 20 years of clinical expertise. She is a Fellow of the International Psychoanalytic Association and serves as a Supervising and Training Analyst, as well as a faculty member at the American Institute for Psychoanalysis in New York. Lisa is dedicated to providing comprehensive, compassionate, and results-oriented treatment to her clients, both in the U.S. and internationally.

Lisa holds a master’s degree in clinical social work from Columbia University and completed her psychodynamic psychotherapy training at the American Institute for Psychoanalysis in New York. She further honed her skills at the Tavistock Clinic in the United Kingdom, a globally recognized leader in mental health theories and treatments. During her time in London, she trained as a psychoanalyst at the Institute for Psychoanalysis of the British Psychoanalytical Society.

Lisa is the co-editor of the American Journal of Psychoanalysis, contributing to the academic and professional advancement of the field.

In her private practice in Greenwich, Connecticut, Lisa offers psychotherapy and psychoanalysis to adults, adolescents, and families, addressing a wide range of emotional issues, including anxiety, depression, and relationship difficulties.
